WARSAW VILLAGE BAND has been on stage since 1997. Their repertoire is inspired by music from Chopin's beloved land, Mazovia. Despite their strong attachment to tradition and the sound primarily based on cutting vocals and acoustic instruments, the group is not afraid to go further and collaborate with DJs and musicians representing different genres to create music relevant to a modern-day audience.
Through music, they raise questions about cultural identity and the importance of our roots. This unique thinking about heritage has brought them many awards from the Polish and international music industry and opened doors to world stages. For over 25 years, the group has been using this privilege to tour four continents and share their visions of folk form stages in large festival fields or intimate music clubs.
